Whaaat, I made an outfit almost a month in advance?! I did the 3 row gathered chemise à la reine, using the round gown as a guide (of course because it’s my favorite pattern 😂).
My rib is unfortunately still sprained, so I had to forgo stays… still pretty dang happy with how it all turned out!

4 mile hike with my big girl today. She’s been my partner for 10 years now, as of today. Eowyn is an amazing mare. She’s so smart and we’re absolutely so bonded.
Sometimes it’s really difficult to know I’m not always doing completely right by her, because I have an insane schedule and I struggle with that. Giving both of us these walks builds trust and solidifies our bond. I’m not asking anything of her other than to keep following me. Plus, I absolutely need the exercise. 😂
I really do need to focus more on arena work, because I definitely have hang ups over it and that transfers from me to my mare. Our journey has come so far, it’s time to do a slight pivot so we can go even further. 🥰

Really happy with how this outfit came together! I literally threw together the red under jacket, YESTERDAY! It was already cut out, so I did a quick and dirty sew, that I’ll eventually fix before the next equestrian event. Really happy with the outer layer though! The pit vents really do help. 😂
