It’s the little things that take the most time!

Every single DIY ornament kit gets its own supplies, and right now we’re busy assembling THOUSANDS of tool kits to go along with all those ornaments!

From cutting and preparing the ornaments to filling paint packets, assembling tool kits, printing instructions, and packaging everything… there is SO much work that goes into each kit before it’s ready for you to take home!

It’s mostly just my husband and me working behind the scenes, putting a whole lot of love (and countless hours!) into getting everything ready.

When you purchase one of our DIY ornament kits, you’re getting so much more than just an ornament. You’re getting everything you need to slow down, get creative, and make a special memory.

Just another day That Darn PineapThat Darn Pineapple Creationsu’re trying to get everything organized for Christmas Village… and the next, you’re staring at a floor full of supplies wondering if you should laugh, cry, or just go home! 🤣

When I say there’s a LOT that goes into preparing thousands of DIY ornament kits, THIS is part of what I mean!

Only 28 days until Christmas Village in Nashville, and apparently we’re adding cleanup duty to the to-do list!

More behind-the-scenes look at what goes into preparing for Christmas Village!

Thousands of ornaments means THOUSANDS of tiny paint packets that have to be filled, sealed, and packaged by hand!

We’ve officially made 4,185 paint packets, and we’re still going!

When you shop with a small business, you may not realize just how much time, work, and love goes into getting each product ready. Around here, it’s a whole lot of late nights, teamwork, and determination!

We’re counting down the days until November 12–15, and I cannot wait to see all this hard work come together!

Big things are happening behind the scenes at That Darn Pineapple Creations!

I’m excited to share that I was accepted into Christmas Village in Nashville! With over 30,000 shoppers expected, it’s the largest event I’ve ever prepared for. We’re also getting ready for A Very Maury Christmas and another holiday booth in December!

That’s why I’m taking a temporary pause from classes and workshops. We still have 6,000 paint packets and 1,400 tool kits(sponges, twine, brush & glue) to assemble, plus 3,000 ornaments to package!

It’s just me and my wonderful husband, who also works another job. Add in an arm injury that’s slowing me down, and there are only so many hours in the day.

I’m so excited for these opportunities, but creating at this volume is a little overwhelming for our team of two. We’re working hard, and we’ll get it done! ❤️
