Columbia Ecstatic Dance Collective Our Ecstatic dance is like a dynamic meditation that helps people clear their minds, get into their bodies, and process and release. The dance is adults only.

We dance FIRST FRIDAY at
Alegria Dance Studio
and
THIRD SUNDAY MID-MONTH at
Columbia Friends Meeting House

*as announced via email & social media*

Keep your eyes peeled
for occasional features:
live music
~ special events ~
pop-up/outdoors dancing There are no steps to follow, and you move the way your body asks you to move, with less of an emphasis on what it looks like than how it feels to you. On the dance floor, silence is encouraged so that we can explore communication and connection through movement. Our group welcomes everyone, regardless of dance experience. For each session we feature a new playlist and rotate leaders, or playlist makers, who may offer guidance at the beginning and hold the circle at the end of dance. We suggest bringing a water bottle for hydration. Please join us!
