Wrapped up this sleeve with a tribal arm-band cover up, looks like it’ll stick pretty good but probably will hit it again just for fun. The other tattoos are a few years healed! It’s super important to me my work looks good healed up, years later. That’s why I work in sessions. If a tattoo looks clean through a bushy hairy arm, you did something right! Haha. Thanks, Adam!

Aztec warrior for Adrianna from the other day.

In Aztec mythology, the hummingbird symbolizes the reincarnated souls of the bravest warriors, who returned to earth to live forever in the sun. The hummingbird is fiercely territorial and its movements mimic the ideal Aztec fighter, according to the legend.

Happy Memorial Day, everyone.

We took a trip down to the bison range and spent the day appreciating this beautiful state in this wonderful country. It has its problems but it’s still the only place I’d want to be.

Thank you to our men and women who serve, and have served, this country. I spent the day enjoying the freedom that you earned for us. Yes, there are freedoms we are still entitled to, and I remain confident one day we shall have them.

But for now, we enjoy what we have, which, when you drive around Montana, feels like a lot. My heart is full.

Here’s a random batch of fun pieces I’m working on or have finished lately. I had a client recently get a smaller piece by another artist because they didn’t think I’d want to do a small piece. Nothing could be further from the truth! I love little tattoos! Bring me whatever you got. I’m a workaholic.

Got a few days available in Aug I’d like to fill and Sept is getting full too. Otherwise booking Oct-onward.

I’ve been busy packing to move and haven’t been posting tattoos! Been working on some rad stuff though. I’ll be blasting them out soon enough.

This is Gemma, she likes mushrooms. She’s also wearing antlers because she’s also kind of a deer but it’s hard to see, tattoo wrapping the arm the way they do. Another fun dog tattoo for Tammy. Fortunately Gemma is still around. I love when I get to do pet portraits that aren’t memorials, it’s a treat.

Dogs are awesome.

Lots of pics lately. Snapped this one as we continued Ryann’s leg. Shop lighting, nothing fancy.

This was two days in a row, and generally I think that’s a lot for the body to heal up, even though it’s a good option for those who travel to get tattooed. I’ll probably go through this and tighten a few spots, but really happy with the heal.

I say it all the time, how they look healed is the most important part of a tattoo! Thanks, Ryann.
