“The Lord’s Prayer” is the fifth release from the “Western Reunion Sessions”—a musical collaboration between Jack Stephens and Layton Howerton, recorded at Angel Theater in Columbia Falls, Montana & Santa Ynez, California.

This particular tune hearkens back to their spiritual roots when they met as boys through their fathers...who were fellow pastors and friends.

“We hope you enjoy this sacred hymn, a ‘setting’ composed in 1935 by Albert Hay Malotte, with a twist, featuring two of our favorite instruments—a 12 string “Ricky” & Hammond B-3.”

Sorry we weren’t able to schedule any “Christmas” events at the theater this year due to many challenges too numerous to mention. However, Jack was able to begin recording in the studio. “Silent Night for Daddy,” a Christmas song written a few years ago by Jack and recorded with his lifelong friend Layton Howerton has just been released. You can hear it by visiting https://www.angeltheater.com/get-music. It’s also available on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Google Play, etc. Though not a typical “Christmas song,” we hope you enjoy it and will pass it along to someone who may be experiencing something similar this Holiday season.
“Silent Night for Daddy” is the 1st of many songs to be released in the coming year that is included in a collaborative project which Jack and Layton call “The Western Reunion Sessions.”

(please arrive 15 minutes early for registration)

PERFORMANCE DATES:
February 14, 15 & 16
3 Shows - All Evening Performances

- Experienced singers, musicians and actors/orators -
(17 years of age and older)

Singers: Please bring your accompanist if you have one.
If not, you may bring a music track, or perform "a capella."

Actors / Orators: A "love letter" or poem will be provided for reading

Musicians: Bring your instrument and sheet music if needed
(theater piano is available)

Acceptable Genres: Love songs from any of the following:
Broadway, Jazz, Gospel, Contemporary Pop and Country
