All performance schooling show

Entry fee - $45 before April 18. $50 after April 18.
Deslgned for model horse enthusiasts new to showing performance, for experienced showers testing new setups, and for exhibitors who love showing performance. This is a schooling show. There will be no NAN cards, no year-end awards. Judges and showholders will be allowed to enter (but not receive awards).
Tables: There are eleven standard rectangular tables and a few 5’ round tables available for exhibitors. Please indicate if you can share a table.
Judging: Triple-judged with ribbons and comment cards from each judge.
Prizes: Paper flats to 6th from each judge.
Special prizes for showers who complete their own judges card. Raffle donations gladly accepted to use as learner judge prizes. Items not needed for prizes may be raffled off to offset show expenses.
Classes: Please check on the entry the categories you might show in to help determine class splits, if entries warrant.
No limit of models per class, but please be mindful of setup time needed.
Some props may be available for loan. Patterns for trail, dressage, showmanship, etc will also be available.
Incomplete setups – because this is a schooling show, entries will be permitted with missing elements. Model and tack are required, but if a prop animal (cow in a stock work class, for example), entrants may use an appropriately labeled substitute. Likewise, in harness classes an entry must have a harness, but a box or other substitute may be used in place of the vehicle. Incomplete setups will not place above complete setups in the class, but are intended to be a learning experience.
OF prop classes are for entries with OF Breyer, Schleisch, or other manufacturer produced tack, props, and riders.
Learner judges: Entrants are encouraged to judge the classes along with the judges – there will be time allotted before the official judging begins. Score cards will be provided to all entrants to record their placings which they can then compare to the official results.
Lunch: We will break around noon for lunch – pizza will be provided. Exhibitors can also bring their own food and snacks.

I hereby release Jill Webb, Anya Williams, the judges, volunteers, and The Columbia City Community Center of any liability for any personal injury, property damage or loss that may occur over the course of this event. I agree to abide by the rules of the show and accept that the judges’ rulings are final. Harassment of volunteers, judges, or other exhibitors is not permitted and can result in removal from the remainder of the show.
