The Force was strong at the Pikes Peak Center this past weekend! 🌌✨
We closed out our POPS season with two sold-out performances of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Live in Concert. From the first notes of the "Imperial March" to the final credits, the energy from the Colorado Springs Philharmonic was absolutely galactic.
But the adventure started way before the baton dropped!
📸 Patrons took photos with the Mountain Garrison - 501st Legion, including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and even Obi-Wan Kenobi.
⚡ The Center for Future Audiences table was buzzing as kids used "the Force" (a.k.a. static electricity) to levitate objects and decode secret Rebel Alliance messages.
🔭 On Friday night, our friends from the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society were outside with telescopes, letting us gaze at the stars and planets that inspired the films!
