The award-winning Theater Company at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College (LOA/LORT) is looking to hire several positions for the for the 2023–2024 season (beginning August 2023 through May 2024).
Qualified and passionate carpenters, scenic artists, electricians, stitchers, run crew, and other technical theater artisans. Pay is hourly from $15-$20/hr depending on the position and the applicant’s qualifications.
A2/Sound Engineer
Pay is hourly from $17/hr and this position will be engaged a minimum of 25 full weeks. The A2 will assist in all sound setups for mainstage, pit, music room, or other spaces, and technical rehearsals and performances for every theatrical show and special event in our spaces. And be the primary point of communication for audio/visual issues and adjustments for the talent backstage. Experience with Clearcom products, theatrical microphone placement techniques, general sound reinforcement methods, and a good pair of ears, is greatly preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this position, and the ability to work well with others is a must.
