Hunter-Wolff Gallery is honoring 50 years of Tony Heslop’s pottery in Colorado Springs this weekend. The amount of his pieces on display is amazing and his pricing is unbelievably affordable. 🤯 If you were at our last home, you’re familiar with his work. We had 3 of his custom sinks. I’ve been a fan and collector for almost 20 years. It’s your turn. Get there before 5:00 today to meet him! Plus, this gallery holds another one of my most favorite artist’s pieces (Adam Long Sculpture)! So many reasons to just go!

How are we feeling about Mayco’s Mood Ring glaze? (Extra curious from other potters) I really want to like it, but I’m struggling to. I purposely took photos in different lighting, so they’re all accurate. Tell me the truth. It doesn’t hurt my feelings, I didn’t make the glaze. 🤪 (This wound up being 5 coats fired to cone 5, BMix clay. It was fired once with 3 coats and was so dull. I added 2 more coats and sent it back for re-fire)

Your commissions are still coming in! I may not really love making mugs, but I love making you happy!

Sorry! Must read this one for the photos to make sense. lol My mom is so cute. She asked if I might be able to make her a toothbrush holder to match her current Qtip holder. She said she even brought her current one to show me the size, so I was a little surprised when she handed me this souvenir tequila shot glass. 😂 After a few laughs, I said we can make it happen. Rob wound up making it and I glazed it to be similar to her Qtip holder. Thanks for the chuckle, mama! Enjoy your new multi-functional little piece for whatever occasion arises. 🪥🍹

Another for the Oops pile! A few weeks ago, I tried a new kind of kiss mug.
They’re meant to only slightly nest together, so that worked ok.. There’s a little indent from the kiss and that’s kinda cute...😘 However, the actual lips are a disaster. I KNOW I can’t draw and have no idea why I thought I should. 🤪 The lips on the left have fangs instead of kiss lines. The ones the right ran. I still love to try new things though!
