I am, in no particular order: tall, near-sighted, married (to a tall, near-sighted man no less), Mennonite, diabetic, vegan (for health reasons), a knitter/crocheter, marketing manager for an artist's co-op, fond of lapis lazuli, in my mid-50's, a former editor and lifetime member of the grammar police, an alto who loves to harmonize, an avid reader, annoyingly punctual

, and mildly tech savvy. You can break it, melt it, etch it, mix it with other media and materials and it doesn't mind at all. I like to add things like collage, paint, beads, polymer clay, resin, and fiber to my mosaics because it broadens my options for getting the effects I want.
