REMNANTS, Bricolage Gallery
Brandi Hamilton Studio | Contemporary Assemblage Exhibition November 2025 – April 2026

Every engineer, coder, and tinkerer knows: the inside is often more beautiful than the outside. Remnants reimagines the raw guts of machines—circuit boards, wires, gears, and engineered fragments—into artworks that speak to design ingenuity and the persistence of ideas.
This isn’t nostalgia; it’s a material language of repair and reinvention. If you love the elegance of obsolete tech, the ingenuity of old tools, or the quiet hum of circuitry, you’ll find something here that resonates.Come see what happens when technology is taken apart, re-assembled, and given a second life as art.

My assemblages are built from obsolete hardware and architectural elements, pieces that were designed to function and once served people, friends & clients, in their everyday lives.
I’m drawn to the structure of those objects—the weight, the precision, the way they were made to fit into a larger system. I take them out of that original context and rework them into something to invoke curiosity.
Every piece is assembled by hand, one decision at a time.

Exhibition on view through April 2026

One of my assemblages is currently on view in the Window Seat exhibition at the Colorado Springs Airport, curated by Cottonwood Center for the Arts.

This installation is designed for a transient audience—people in motion, between places. The work had to hold attention without demanding it.

If you’re passing through Colorado Springs Airport this week, you’ll catch the final days of the show.
