May 2, 1941 – March 18, 2026

German Zamuel was born May 2, 1941, and passed away March 18, 2026, at the age of 84, peacefully at home in Port Charlotte, Florida.

German was a renowned Russian-trained ballet instructor and former choreographer. He operated the Zamuel Ballet School in Colorado Springs; a pre-professional program centered on the Vaganova technique. His passion and dedication shaped the artistry and discipline of dancers who went on to perform at the highest levels, with many becoming principal dancers around the world.

Known for his deep commitment to his students, German’s teaching reflected both high standards and genuine care. He believed in the power of ballet not only to cultivate talent, but to build confidence, perseverance, and character.

German enjoyed life and the people around him. His legacy will live on through the dancers he trained, the colleagues he collaborated with, and the many lives he touched through his love of dance.
