Before we leap into our fall season, we’re taking a short break.

Dance is about so much more than what happens in the studio. It’s about connection, confidence, friendship, and growth. So, before the music starts again, we’re giving our dancers (and our team!) a little time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the moments that inspire us beyond the studio.

You're invited!

For students ages 7-18 who are ready to deepen their dance experience, Student Company offers more than additional training—it provides a place to belong, grow, and discover what is possible through dance.

Modeled after our professional dance company, Ormao's pre-professional Student Company program gives dancers the opportunity to explore performance, choreography, creativity, and collaboration in an inclusive and supportive environment. Through teamwork, mentorship, and artistic exploration, students build confidence, leadership skills, lasting friendships, and a stronger sense of self.

Student Company members engage with the community through performance opportunities, work with guest artists and choreographers, and learn alongside peers who share their passion for dance. Along the way, they develop skills that extend far beyond the studio and into every stage of life.

Ormao's Open Stages show From The Mountains To The Valley is HERE! It will be a night of celebration for our planet and it's nature, community bonding, and artistic creations. Works and works in progress of various local artists will be put on stage at Ormao to create a positive space to share and observe other's art. Join us to witness the culmination of these Colorado Springs artists! Attendee tickets are donation based and support Ormao's mission to create an all inclusive space to b creative and collaborative.

ATTENTION ARTISTS! Proposals are due THIS WEEK on Friday for From The Mountains To The Valley. If you're planning to show your work, make sure your submission is in by July 24th. We accept visual arts, film, performing arts, comedy, and much more, so bring your works or works in progress and share them with your community! Connect with local artists, support your community, and foster an artistic environment with Oramo's Open Stages show! We hope to see you there!!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Ormao's annual Open Stages Event is almost here and we want to see your work on stage! This year's show, From The Mountains To The Valley, celebrates and recognizes nature and the world that provides so much for us. Works in progress or finished work are accepted for submission; submit your proposal with the link provided. Theatrics, dance, poetry, visual art, comedy, and more are all viable options for submission. We cannot wait to hear about what you all are creating and hope to see you there!!

Proposals are due July 24th; dress rehearsal is July 26th at 3:30 PM, and the performance is July 26th at 6:30 PM.
