Neighborhood Arts + Crafts Walk

Neighborhood Arts + Crafts Walk Walk through Divine Redeemer and Mid Shooks Run to visit Artists/Makers in their creative spaces

Michelle Hair, glass artist and owner of Earth Beads, is the creator and founder of the Neighborhood Arts + Craft Crawl. In late summer 2019 she had the idea of trying to gather artists/makers in her surrounding neighborhoods to open up their creative spaces to the public. Her mission was to create community among her neighbors by highlighting local artists so other neighbors could learn abou

t their craft, visit their spaces, and have the ability to purchase their artwork – all within walking/biking distance from each other.

Thank you to all that came out to support our artists at the Neighborhood Art Walk last weekend! See you next year!

Meet the Makers: 4 Artists, 4 Unique Perspectives!

This Saturday! The Divine Redeemer & Middle Shooks Run Neighborhood Arts + Crafts Walk for a powerhouse gathering of creatives you won’t want to miss.

Stop 5 Barbara – A retired K–12 art teacher from Alaska, Barbara brings decades of experience and experimentation to her layered gouache and acrylic works. Her art often explores reflection, movement, and the unexpected beauty of imperfection. She’s visiting Colorado Springs just for this show — sharing a table with her daughter, Renna who is also one of our favorite artists in the show! .

Stop 12 Naomi – Mixed media artist and design adventurer, Naomi’s work plays with contrast, texture, and emotion. She isn’t afraid to make bold choices, and her pieces invite viewers to lean in and look deeper.

STOP 3 Gayle – Watercolorist and fine line drawer with a love of storytelling. Gayle’s pieces often evoke quiet moments and natural elements, capturing details others might miss. Her gentle, introspective style is both grounding and enchanting.

STOP 1 Paulette – Known for her intuitive color palettes and layered surfaces. A Colorado Springs favorite, she brings grounded energy and fine art sensibility to everything she creates.

Come meet them, chat, and maybe fall in love with a new piece of art.

Our Newest addition!!!

Barbara at Stop #5

Joining us all the way from Alaska, Barbara is a retired K–12 art teacher and a lifelong artist whose creative curiosity has taken her through many mediums over the years. Most recently, she’s been exploring print-making and painting with gouache and acrylics—creating layered, expressive works full of depth and color.

Barbara will be showing her work alongside her daughter, Renna, and we’re thrilled to welcome them both to the Divine & Shooks Run Neighborhood Art Walk this year. Don’t miss the chance to see Barbara’s soulful pieces in person and say hello!
