There’s truly nothing quite like a helium ceiling. 🩷✨

These installs will forever be a favorite of mine. The prep work, long hours, and late nights are no joke, but seeing the final result makes every second worth it!

For this one, we used every shade of pink 𝗧𝗨𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗫 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗻𝘀 we had on hand and added sparkle tinsel for that extra touch of magic. ✨

For everyone coming for me about the tangled strings and the mess on the floor during this helium ceiling install 😂🎈

First off, the strings really don’t get that tangled! I gently bag and release the balloons, and a quick comb through with my fingers separates them.

Why don’t I pre-cut my strings? Because ceiling measurements aren’t always accurate! I’ve learned that cutting on-site allows me to get the perfect layered look without risking strings being too short.

And the strings on the floor? I normally use a Home Depot bucket to collect scraps, but forgot it that day. So a Ziploc bag tucked into my pants did the trick. 😂 My back wasn’t about to pick up 400 strings!

Not the only way to do it, but it’s what works for me!!

This time last year, our client asked us a question:

“Have you ever seen lowercase marquees?”

And honestly… no. 😂

I searched everywhere and couldn’t find anything like what she was envisioning. So last year, we booked the marquees we could get and made it work.

But when this year’s event came back around, we knew it was time to pull the trigger on something completely custom.

We had lowercase marquees built specifically to match their logo—and when I tell you DUO | Denver Event Carpentry | Backdrops | Bars & Snack Carts DID. NOT. MISS. 👏🏼

The font matches their logo perfectly. The colors are placed in the exact order of their branding. Every little detail was intentional.

And our client was absolutely over the moon.

THIS is what makes it more than “just balloons” to me.

It’s listening to a client describe something they can see in their head—even when it doesn’t exist yet—and figuring out how to bring that exact vision to life.

And honestly, this video doesn’t even do it justice.

The first-ever lowercase marquees?! Yeah… I’m obsessed. 🤌🏼✨

Same install. Two completely different stages. 👀

Picture ONE: Creating the shape, building the base, and adding all that FLUFF. ☁️

Picture TWO: The finished install after adding all the custom elements requested by our client. ✨

Now I need to know…

Which one are you picking: Picture 1 or Picture 2?! 👇🏼
