🤠 Well... this is awkward. 🤠
Just when we thought we were hangin' up our spurs for 2026, the Colorado Springs community had other ideas.
Thanks to an overwhelming show of support and several generous donations, we're excited to announce that the 83rd Pikes Peak or Bust Parade and all parade-day events are back on!
The wagons will be rollin' through downtown after all, and that includes:
🐴 Lil' Cowpokes Stick Horse Races
🐴 Big Cowpokes Stick Horse Races
🏆🐴 City Slickers Stick Horse Race
🐴 2026 Pikes Peak or Bust Parade
To everyone who reached out, shared memories, offered support, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make this possible—thank you.
Looks like we're putting those spurs back on.

After much consideration, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the 83rd Pikes Peak or Bust Parade and all parade-day activities scheduled for July 11, 2026.

We simply could not secure the resources necessary to produce the event at the level our community deserves.

We know many of you were looking forward to the parade, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who offered their time, support, sponsorship, and enthusiasm.

While the parade won't be taking place this year, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo returns July 14–18, and tickets are on sale now.

Thank you, Colorado Springs. We hope to see you at the rodeo, and we remain hopeful that this beloved tradition can return in the future. ❤️🤠
