Lillian Jane Neal, an expressive abstract realism artist, creates soul-stirring paintings that ignite hope, courage, and inspiration. Born and raised in West Texas, Lillian discovered her passion for art early in life. She pursued her love for art through high school, and obtained a teaching certificate in art at Eastern New Mexico University, which offered the opportunity art in the middle school grades. Upon teacher retirement, Lillian was ordained as a minister and led the prophetic art team and painted live during services. Her prophetic insight transferred through the imagery of her paintings often led perfect strangers to realize that God had spoken to them through her art! She began painting for the Gold Monarch Healing Center, during inner healing sessions. She has paintings hanging in the gallery there, as well as the Denver Healing Center. She continued to hone her skills and attended and graduated from the Milan Art Institute.

Lillian realized the transformative power her art carried as more people testified as to how it made an impact on their heart. Working primarily in acrylics and oils Lillian’s vibrant and dynamic paintings capture the essence of hope and resilience. Her work is characterized by bold colors and evocative imagery. Lillian draws inspiration from personal experiences, nature, travel, and her spiritual connection. Her creative process involves expressive, high energy mark making and spray paint for the beginning vibrant and dynamic layers. She finishes it off in oils capturing the essence of hope and resilience. Her work is characterized by bold colors and evocative imagery, with hidden gems to evoke contemplation. She is an award-winning artist in the West Texas Art Show, and is often found doing demonstrations for art clubs, and painting live as part of the entertainment at weddings. Lillian aims to illuminate the path for others, using her art as a beacon of light. She envisions a future where her paintings continue to inspire hope and courage all over the world as she makes her way as a full-time artist. Reflecting on her journey, Lillian shares, “Art has the power to awaken the soul and ignite the courage within us all”. “My goal is to create pieces that not only tell a story bu also inspire others to embrace their own journeys.”

Lillian Jane Neal’s art is more than a visual expression; it is a testament to the enduring power of hope and courage. She is married to her husband Paul, and the four dogs that become late night studio assistants. She is a professional working pilot and logs her inspirations as well as hours. She plans to enlarge her back yard studio overlooking the beautiful acreage filled with wildlife and west Texas plants to house a new printer for the printing side of her business.
