Well the Hendon Home is still standing lol barely this is the second time it has suffered this terrible tragedy first time was in 1976 r 77 but dad Boe Hendon he rebuilt it and it's funny how history repeats itself bc back then funny thing the Collinsville fire dept showed up with a empty water truck and the person that had the keys was on vacation so they was of not much use back then and then fastforward till present and they still have gotten no better at it bc I live 4 miles north of Collinsville and this bunch went all the way down towards meridian I'm guessing close to midway mart before they cld figure out that north was the other way so it took them a hr or better to finally show up and boy did they 7 fire trucks but still not quiet ready to put out the fire bc they only used one hose until they was ready to go home they finally brought out a second hose and the one guy never did figure out how to operate and aim that water cannon on truck towards the house he kept spraying the field and the hwy and even us once r twice but u got to give them credit for showing up and knowing how to turn the lights on at least lol all in all glad none of them was injured or anything like that and made it home safely really am no bu****it ....... But they really need to get them out of diapers before adding them to being a full time firefighter volunteers
