Inarticulate Archive

This painting on wood panel explores the theme of silence. We are all aware of libraries limiting noise volume for those browsing the aisles, but did you ever consider the irony in that? Books are anything but silent. they scream to be pulled from the shelves with their enticing covers and titles. They also have an intimate and lengthy conversation between the author and reader. This archive is both quiet and loud.
