"That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."

Flag Day is a United States holiday celebrating the adoption of the American Flag on June 14, 1777 by resolution presented by the Second Continental Congress. Nicknamed "Old Glory," the flag consisting of bright stars and stripes is our long-standing banner of pride, patriotism, and freedom so bravely fought for.

πŸ’ That big band sound was spectacular during this year's Sweet & Salty Valentine's Concert at The Commons.

🎺 Guests and their sweethearts were treated to sweet symphonic portions led by Music Director Jeremy Francisco, followed by a salty finish featuring the jazz section led by Pops Conductor Joel Denton.

🌹 Special thanks to Honey & Hive Baking & Catering Co. for serving sweet treats and refreshments, and to our friends at The Commons for being the perfect venue for this event approaching nearly 10 years!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!! 🌹
