"That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."
Flag Day is a United States holiday celebrating the adoption of the American Flag on June 14, 1777 by resolution presented by the Second Continental Congress. Nicknamed "Old Glory," the flag consisting of bright stars and stripes is our long-standing banner of pride, patriotism, and freedom so bravely fought for.
