Well folks, it turns out that last weeks show with Greg Schroeder and Brandon Jenkins was the last show of the Spring Season of Big Texas Thursdays. We're sad to announce that this Thursdays show with Ben Morris and Mark David Manders has been canceled due to The closing of the host venue. Not the way we wanted to close out a season, but it wasn't our call!

We're even sorrier to announce what has become a far to common occurrence around the live music scene here in College Station that Prospectors has closed their doors. Yesterday was their last day of business.

Needless to say, Big Texas Thursdays is on hiatus until we find a host venue. We were really looking forward to our second season at Prospectors. We had some big artists planned for the Fall. We'd like to thank them for hosting us on Thursdays! It was a fun time, for sure!

Thanks to everyone who supported Big Texas Thursdays. Now, more than ever folks, please support your local music scene, its venues, and independent original artists! You don't know a good thing til you've lost it!

We're more than excited to announce that Big Texas Thursdays is back for Spring 2015! Our new home will be at Prospectors Grill & Saloon! They've got an awesome stage, great food and drinks, and an amazing staff! Thank you Prospectors for renewing this series!

Our first show kicks off on Jan 29 and continues every Thursday throughout the spring! It's an awesome lineup full of your favorites, hot up-and-comers, and Texas premier songwriters!
