The Century Singers is the premier 100-member concert choir of men and women and is the second oldest choral ensemble at Texas A&M University. The group is a recognized student organization at Texas A&M and is Directed by Mr. We perform a diverse repertoire concentrating on classical choral literature, as well as folk songs, spirituals, popular songs, and show tunes. The Century Singers perform th

roughout the Bryan/College Station community and the state at campus events, church services, and conventions. Our choir is a close-knit family that connects through a shared passion for music. Members have the opportunity to participate in various social events throughout the year including overnight retreats and activities such as ice-skating, movie nights, and group dinners. Involvement in both social gathering and formal rehearsals brings members together as Aggies, musicians, and friends. Her favorite Century Singers memory is, “winning ISY my first semester! Not only do I love winning, but that game helped me to build lasting friendships with people in the choir and memories that we still laugh about today.”

Introducing our Secretary, Kendal Newell!

His favorite memory from CS is “Every single Live Reality Game that I’ve played or ran! Getting fourth place in Garrett’s Challenge was tragic, but also an eye-opener as to the hidden strategy in any game. Getting out in rocks in tenth place on Garrett’s Survivor was truly the most tragic but also the most iconic exit I could have had. Running Survivor, Challenge Royale, and Traitors on Tour, with amazing winners like Ashton, Kara, and Philip, with everyone else playing their hardest as well, it’s been so much fun to have this passion for these games and for other people throughout all of CAO to share that passion with me. Special shoutout to Kate Wilson for holding the record for the longest time spent on my endurance challenges with a time of 5 hours, 31 minutes, and 34 seconds (with Philip Thompson losing the challenge at this point).”

Her favorite CS memory is “last year’s fall retreat - it was my first semester in CS, so I was feeling a little nervous being in a new setting where I didn’t really know anyone. That evening, I met so many new people, had so much fun playing games, and when the evening was over, I made some new friends!!”

Last night’s concert was the Century Singers’ last concert on our international performance tour to Germany and the Czech Republic! Special thanks to , , and for helping make this trip a success. This trip was the perfect end to the school year and we can’t wait to share more with you soon!
