Arc & Alloy Artist Zac Lee has been a union ironworker since 1990 and has taken his skills and honed them into creating beautifully detailed hand made sculptures.

He creates an amazing connection to his subject matter in movement and in thoughtful composition.

OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!

The last hammerhead I made was all done then I noticed something was wrong. I got the measuring tape out and realized that I had made a math error while scaling. I’ll finish this, get some armature going for the sea turtle, then back to the screaming T-Rex. I really have to finish that up.

Too hot for the shop today. Had some productive time learning a new subject. My pencil work leaves much to be desired but it really helps me get to know the animal better. I think it may be time. First sculpture is sometimes a bit rough but I’ll do my best.
