North Country Moose Festival The Annual North Country Moose Festival is always held the weekend prior to Labor Day weekend. Come enjoy our 2-day festival!

Since 1991 the North Country has held the Moose Festival to celebrate the largest of North Country animals and showcase our area. The abundance and majesty of the local moose population, coupled with the tapestry of mountains, lakes, and streams, places this festival in the heart of a most desirable, peaceful vacation destination. Family entertainment is the heart of our country festival with grea

t music and special events for every age. The North Country Chamber of Commerce now organizes this event, and can help answer any questions visitors, vendors or others may have.

Join us for a Forensic Science Camp for ages 10 and over on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 am-2 pm at the Great North Woods Center for the Arts!
Solve a crime using Science!
Once again our friends at Operation Coos Cares is planning a wonderful day for area children and families. This FREE event promises to be a fun day with lots of learning!
Pizza and snacks will all be provided. Just bring yourselves in for a summer day of Forensic Science Camp!

Our club officers have been out surveying the trails for the past few days, and once again we ask that you support the trails you ride and join the club!

But without further delay: GNWR Trails and Town approved roads will open SATURDAY May 23rd 2026. PLEASE STAY OFF THE TRAILS AND ROADS UNTIL THEN! Respect our landowners, without them we would have nothing!

We are so grateful to be celebrating our 1st Year Anniversary on Saturday, May 16th.

We will be starting off with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 4 pm.

Our guides will be providing a sampling of guide trip food, casting demos, and there will be a casting competition with prizes!

We look forward to seeing you there and a great 2026 season!
