Welcome to the home of Studio La Femme. Our story began when a group of women gathered together to learn a simple dance routine for our partners. During the movement process the leader noticed the challenge each girl had with negative self talk. She observed these beautiful souls bringing themselves down while at the same time trying to be brave. It was then that the philosophies of the class were born.

Here at SLF we merge mental health philosophies and movement. We don’t allow any negative self talk. We say things to ourselves that we would never say to another human being and we don’t give that power while in the classroom. We are a community. We are not successful based off an individuals actions, we are successful because we are indeed a community where everyone contributes to the wellness of the group. We don’t just spend time together in the classroom, we uplift and empower each other during our day to day living. We are a support network when times get hard. We disappear in the classroom and leave our troubles outside the door.

Amazing things happen when a group of souls comes together to create a tribe. When we work through the fears that accompany pole fitness or burlesque classes we gain confidence. This confidence transcends outside of the dance space and into our daily living. Hold your head high sisters.
