👻👾 Calling all fans of ghouls, ghosts, and things that go bump in the night! Monster Fest returns to Tibbits on Saturday, October 24 at 8pm! The night begins with a performance by Kalamazoo-based minimalist synth punk band Spatter Pattern, followed by a screening of Peter Jackson's 1996 film, "The Frighteners."

Throughout the evening, Michigan horror author J.C. Vande Zande will host a book signing in the art gallery. Vande Zande recently published the final book in his gothic horror series, the Orphan Island Trilogy, which follows a family’s fight against both literal monsters and internal demons across Northern Michigan. All three books of the trilogy will be available for purchase at Monster Fest.

Tickets for the event are $10 and available to purchase online at Tibbits.org or by calling the box office at 517-278-6029.
