� **TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: Let’s Try Hot Foiling!** �

Have you seen the NEW Stampin’ Hot Foil System from Stampin’ Up!® and wondered, “Okay, but how does that thing actually work?” �

That’s exactly what we’re finding out today!

For Technique Tuesday, I’m demonstrating the hot foiling technique and showing you how we can add beautiful metallic shine to our handmade projects.

We’ll walk through the process together, see how the foil transfers, and talk about some of the little things I learn along the way. Because around here, you don’t have to already know what you’re doing before you try something new. We figure it out together!

And you KNOW I’m not going to complain about adding a little shine. Gotta have some bling! ��

I chose these rich fall colors because I think that beautiful gold foil against Pecan Pie, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Golden Glow is going to give us a gorgeous autumn combination. ��

� Remember those Painted Pumpkins we masked on Technique Tuesday? Now let’s use them!
Today we’re taking that technique one step further and turning our beautiful masked pumpkins into a finished fall card using the Painted Pumpkins Bundle from Stampin’ Up!®
If you watched Technique Tuesday, you saw how we used the Painted Pumpkins Decorative Masks, blending brushes, and different ink colors to build those gorgeous pumpkins layer by layer.
But learning a technique is one thing. Figuring out what to DO with it afterward is another! �
That’s what today is all about.
I’ll walk you through putting the card together step by step, and we’ll keep it simple and beginner-friendly. You don’t have to be an experienced card maker, and you definitely don’t have to get every layer perfectly blended.

One of the things I love about decorative masks is that they can give us that beautiful layered, artistic look without needing to know how to draw or paint. The masks do a lot of the heavy lifting for us. We just get to play with the ink!
