I wanted to give a shout out to the nice young lady (Avril??) who helped me with the elderly lady near M&T bank in Colchester. For those who didn't see it, a lady was outside M&T bank in need of help. She was walking with a walker, and she had dropped her belongings and was about to fall down! However, she was present enough to shout for help.
I ran over and helped, and Avril was nice enough to drive the woman back to Harrington Court, where she was staying. Once I got done with my banking, I noticed more or her stuff blowing around outside and I brought it to Harrington Court and gave it to the elderly lady.
Who drops off a person who needs a walker and leaves them to walk next door to Stop and Shop on their own???? I will be sure she gets a bag, so that she doesn't have to try and carry her stuff and use her walker at the same time. Does anyone have one of those pouches that attach to a walker that they're not using? I'll give her a bag for now, but I heard those pouches are more convenient.
