Get out to wakeeney speedway for some awesome fall racing action. This show is going to be wild!! Get out and support your local dirt track!!!!!! This show is one you won’t want to miss!!!!!

Good Sunday afternoon/evening.

So I just want to let everyone know where I stand on promoting the track. So yes my family comes first. Second the support for the track has went down hill in my opinion. From sponsors, marketing partners,fans in the stands and car counts. Don’t get me wrong racing is really expensive and so is running a track.

This year we paid out a good purse every night and made sure the racers were taken care of and being an old racer myself that’s number one! I will make sure the drivers that support me get my support as well.

I have worked my ass off at the track to better things and bring some big shows to town. Dirt crown stock cars,Revival dirt late models, URSS 305 sprint cars, the GOTRA cars and some other classes.

I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR!!!!!
The FAIRBOARD is not the reason that I’m thinking about walking away!!! My family comes first!

Working a 40/hr a week job and being out at the track after work til midnight sometimes 1am takes a lot out of a guy but I want a good track for the drivers and a good show for the fans. Not getting to tuck my girls into bed gets to me.

If nobody steps up I did offer the fairboard to put on 2 or 3 two day shows for good purse money to get drivers from the Midwest to come to town. kinda like the old modified shoot out we used to have at the fair.

Get out and support your local racetracks!!!! Chad and the crew have worked their butts off to bring this area awesome thing on a 1/3 mile track. Get out and support your local dirt tracks

Get out and support your local racetracks. This show has been a big hit every year with cars from 5+ different states and some of the biggest names in dirt track racing!!!!!

There is still some GREAT racing in the area the next several weeks to enjoy, but we are really excited to get the 20th Annual Fall Nationals kicked on the first weekend in Oct!! Please make plans to join us trackside or tune in to IMCATV for every exciting lap via streaming!!

More exciting news to follow with a special appearance of the Revival Late Models in our grand finale of the 26 season!!

It’s RACEDAY!!!!

Well we have made it to the end of another great season of racing at the Thomas County Speedway!! It’s the Jeff Hartwell Memorial.

Please note that we are starting earlier than normal!!
We will have no north pit area so please park tight in the east pit area!!! We will fill it up first and will put open trailers in the infield if need be!!! Please PARK TIGHT!!!!!!
Drivers meeting 6:30pm
Hot laps 7:00pm
Stockcar make up feature 7:30pm!!!!

Running order will be:
Hobby stocks
Sport mods
Stockcar
Modifides

All night!!!!!

We will be throwing frisbees, shirts and some other giveaways in the stands throughout the show!!!

Thank you to everyone for your support!! It will be tough walking away from promoting but my family comes first. Let’s have a great night of racing and pack the stands!!!!!
