Cohasset Dramatic Club has maintained our commitment for 101 years to presenting quality entertainment for the community. Organized in 1921, CDC is one of the oldest continually operating community theaters in the country.

LEAPIN’ LIZARDS! Auditions for Cohasset Dramatic Club’s ANNIE, JR. start tomorrow, 5/19 and continue on 5/20 from 4:00PM-6:00PM, with a callback (if necessary) on 5/21. We welcome kids from all over the south shore, so if you’re age 8-13 and have completed third grade, it’s not too late to sign up and join the fun this summer!

The registration is a 3-step process…register your child, make your payment for the program, and sign them up for an audition slot. Your child cannot participate without an audition slot. Please make sure you complete all three steps!

Maddox Batson is heading to the South Shore Music Circus on June 20th, and he’s bringing a wave of excitement that’s sure to resonate with our community’s vibrant love for the performing arts!

Born in the heart of Nashville, Maddox is not just any teen sensation; he’s a dynamic powerhouse who effortlessly blends modern country with southern rock and pop.

His talents are as a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, and athlete! From our perspective, he embodies the spirit of creativity that Cohasset Dramatic Club champions.

His arrival is not just a concert; it’s a rallying call for our young performers and aspiring stars to join in the fun and explore their own artistic passions.

HADESTOWN AUDITION REMINDER: Tomorrow, 3/19 is your final day to submit an audition video for CDC’s production this summer. Whether you are auditioning in person or via video, please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song from the show.

In addition to your video or signing up for an in person audition slot, you must fill out the google form to be considered for a role.

We look forward to see your auditions in person tomorrow or Saturday at Scituate Performing Arts Center, or a video audition via email!

COHASSET DRAMATIC CLUB is so excited to be producing HADESTOWN this summer. Auditions are this Thursday, 3/19 and Saturday 3/21 with callbacks on Saturday after auditions, all taking place at the Scituate Performing Arts Center at Scituate High School.

For teens, historically from all over the south shore of MA, head to our website where you can fill out an audition form and pick an audition slot for 3/19 or 3/21. We will be accepting video auditions via email at [email protected] until 3/19 for college students only. PLEASE PREPARE 32 BARS OF A SONG FROM THE SHOW FOR YOUR AUDITION.
