“We Hide to Protect.”

This is a piece I made for my sculpture class! It was my first time really working three-dimensionally when it comes to art. It really helped to show me the potential that lies in working in this way, and opened my eyes up to all kinds of possibilities in my art making.

My final piece for my watercolor class! Our assignment was to base a piece off of an artist we had to do a presentation on. I had Albrecht Durer! I was mostly inspired by his piece “Wing of a European Roller” and his attention to detail. Not on his level by any means, but I have it my best shot!
