Shakespeare Coeur d’Alene is seeking actors for our October 2026 production of Henry V!
Calling all kings and soldiers, lords and ladies. We have several adult men’s roles - all ages. There are a few parts for women as well. Actors of all genders, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome to audition.
Auditions: June 22–27
Monday–Friday: 4:00–8:00 PM
(Last appointment at 7:30 PM)
Saturday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
(Last appointment at 2:30 PM)

We are overwhelmed with gratitude to share that our staged reading of The Importance of Being Earnest has officially sold out.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, shared our event, and continues to support Shakespeare Coeur d’Alene.

April 23: the Bard’s entrance… and his final bow 🎭
Today we celebrate and honor William Shakespeare.

He was the man who gave us epic love stories, iconic drama, and characters we’ll never stop bringing to life!
400+ years later and he’s still stealing the show. Not bad, right?
From our stage in Coeur d’Alene to audiences everywhere, his words live on every time the lights go up 🤎

We’re incredibly honored to share that Hamlet has been voted 2nd Place for Best Play in the Inland Northwest in the 2025 Spokane Inlander Best Of Awards!
This recognition means so much to us, not just as a production, but as a community of artists, supporters, and audience members who made it all possible. Thank you for showing up, for cheering us on, and for believing in the work we bring to the stage.

And just like that, The Taming of the Shrew has taken its final bow. 🤍
What an incredible journey this has been. From the first rehearsal to our closing performance, this show was filled with so much hard work, laughter, heart, and talent. We are endlessly grateful to our cast, crew, volunteers, sponsors, and every single person who came out to support live theatre and spend an evening with us.
Thank you for cheering us on, believing in this production, and helping bring this story to life. This show may be over, but the memories, friendships, and magic made along the way will stay with us for a long time.

As we bow at our final show, we wanted to share a little peek at what was happening backstage while you were watching the magic on stage 🤍✨
Between the quick changes, quiet pep talks, laughter in the wings, and all the little moments in between, this show has been such a special one to be part of.
