Comedy Show News: It’s hard to be likable when you’re being brutally honest, butAlvin Williams has found a way, and he’ll show you for a small fee. From the little things in life that truly matter, to the big issues that shouldn’t matter at all. Williams finds the funny in all the places you forgot to look. Whether it’s celebrities, politics, relationships, sports, family, or random tv commercials, you won’t know which direction he’s headed. You’ll just be glad you took the ride with him. Born in Chicago, IL, Alvin shared his childhood between Illinois, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon, Louisiana, and Idaho, making him a “native son” in many of his performance destinations. Growing up he learned to rapidly adapt to his ever-changing environment by turning strangers into friends through laughter, a skill that is noticeably on display as soon as he hits the stage. He has wasted no time making his presence felt on both the national and international comedy circuit with a non-stop tour schedule that spans the entire United States and Canada to his credit. In 2008 he hosted the inaugural Mile High Comedy Festival in Denver, CO. Later that year he became the recurring host of the Shades of Black Show, a multi-cultural talent showcase that tours college campuses across the U.S. In 2009, he was invited to perform at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival in Asheville, NC. In 2012 he headlined the Bob 93.7 FM Comedy Festival in Reno, NV, and that same year Williams headlined the inagural Comedy Night at The Inn, and has been the official host of the event over the last 4 years. Aside from live performances, Alvin can be seen on the tv series Comedy Unfiltered as well as the shows Comedy Brew and Quicklaffs on Hulu.com, and is a 7-time Featured Comic on the viral video network Comedy Time TV.

Comedy Show News Sam Norton: After growing up as the youngest of 5 kids in an Irish-American household, Sam struggled to have any voice at all in his own family. Now after years of toiling away in the rotting basement of the entertainment business, Norton performs to sold-out audiences in clubs & theaters across the nation. Norton has been seen on FOX’s “Laughs”, JBTV’s “Four Star Stand Up” & Comcast’s “Trial By Laughter”.

Every time Norton performs he manifests his bubbling anger into a relentless package of humility, debauchery & heartwarming honesty which RE: Comedy Magazine called “… deviant comedy”. With his cantankerous optimism, Sam showcases the everyday dilemmas a white trash kid from Kansas has while growing up and trying to navigate the real world scenarios of racism, sexism and homophobia, much to the delight of his fans. And if all those words don’t impress you, then reading this was a waste of both of our time.

Originally from Boston, Rick was a recurring sketch performer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno whose keen observational humor, quick wit & and improv skills lead him to the finals in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. Rick has appeared on other TV shows such as Stand-up-Stand-up (Comedy Central), National Lampoon’s Funny Money (GSN), Comedians Unleashed (AP), Grand Slam Comedy Jam (UPN), West Coast Comedy (Starz/Encore) and Laughs (Fox). He has worked clubs all across the country, entertained our troops in Japan, Korea, Italy, Bahrain, and Germany, and performed aboard Celebrity Cruise Line throughout Europe and the Caribbean.

Off-stage, Rick has produced 3 stand-up specials for the Showtime Network: Going Native (9/09), Green Collar Comedy Slam (4/10) and The Godfathers of Comedy (1/11). He also directed, wrote, and co-hosted Half Hour Happy Hour – a late night comedy show on the CW Network in northern NV & CA from 2008-12. Most recently, he got a distribution deal with New Wave Entertainment & Comedy Dynamics for his is comedy/doc, 1 Minute Comic (The Rob Sampson Story), featuring some of the biggest names in comedy today including: Bobcat Goldthwait, Bill Burr, Nick Swardson, Gilbert Gottfried, Owen Benjamin, Bobby Lee, Rich Little, Kevin Pollack & the late Mickey Rooney! It will be available on Hulu, Netflix & Amazon Prime in August 2016.
