A Time to Dance Studio

Well... I think everyone can agree that 2020 has been an incredibly crazy year. For me, it has been filled with both excitement and disappointment. Excitement has come from graduating from UVA-Wise, getting married, moving away, and starting graduate school. Of course, disappointment has come from the disruption of “the expected 2020 year,” due to Covid-19. All of this being said, some of these exciting changes have made it no longer possible for me to continue the operation of A Time to Dance Studio. Thank you to everyone who supported me within the studio. I loved every second of it and will miss it terribly. I truly wished we could have finished out the season and ended with a bang, but all things happen for a reason.

I used Ecclesiastes 3:4 as the inspiration for my studio name, but now it is a reminder that there is an appropriate time for everything in one’s life. Although 2020 is not the time for me to continue my dance studio, it a time for other exciting opportunities in my life. ♥️

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,

I’m happy to announce that I’ve been working hard and will continue to be working in the upcoming week to record dance tutorials, stretching videos, and more! In the next couple of days I will be creating a PayPal and a Private page for anyone who wants to join. The price will be $25 for anyone who wants to join the page for the month of April. Here’s a little something that my advance girls will be working on! 🤗

As of right now, I am not ready to make a official statement about the rest of the semester at ATTDS. Unfortunately, due to regulations, we can not have class as normal, or move forward as normal to plan things, such as the recital, at this time. However, I do not want to call quits on the rest of the semester. I have considered the idea of doing some type of virtual classes, but I would like to know the interest for this type of set-up. Of course it’s not ideal, but it is the best we could do for the foreseeable future. Please share this post to all the dance mammas, and please comment your thoughts and opinions on any type of virtual dance learning for your kiddos! Thanks In advance.

Due to recent school closings and feedback from our students and parents, we have decided to take a 2 week break. Classes will tentatively resume on March 30th.
