Guest River Rally

This year's Guest River Rally brought us every type of weather from blazing sun to gusty wind to pouring rain and sun again and we still managed to have a great time! Thank you to every vendor, every festival goer, and every contest participant! Another great big thank you to the bands and entertainment, you add life to the event and we appreciate you! Many thanks to the sponsors that make the event possible, along with Coeburn Improvement Association VA and the Town of Coeburn. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU to everyone that came out, planned, worked, or helped in anyway. You are appreciated and we are looking forward to next year!

🚨🚧 Alternate Traffic Pattern 🚧🚨

Starting at 10am on September 4, 2026 Front Street will be closed from the intersections of Centre Avenue and Grand Avenue for the Guest River Rally.

Please use caution in this area as vendors are setting up and pedestrians are walking.

We welcome everyone to attend the Guest River Rally and hope you have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

When you're planning your weekend, you have so much to do and see at the Guest River Rally! The 29th Annual Justin's Walk begins at 9am. Come by Ringley Park to register beginning at 9am. This walk is held yearly in memory of Justin Porter and raises money for brain tumor research. There will be awards and prize drawings after the walk.

Lays Hardware Center for the Arts will be a busy place on Saturday! The 1st annual Shirley Cassidy Quilt Show will be held at the Lays Building from 10am-3pm. Please drop your quilts off by 9am. Prizes will be given for the top 3 quilts. Please pick up your quilts by 4pm. The Moutain Traditional Woodcarvers will also be set up at the Lays Building demonstrating traditional woodcarving techniques. Make sure to stop in and see this true mountain art. Bluegrass Circle will also be at the Lays Building from 1pm-3pm. Come in out of the heat and be entertained!

The Guest River Rally Co****le Tournament registration will begin at 10am and the tournament starts at 11am. Cash prizes for the top 3 teams.

The Golf Loft will have a Longest Drive/Closest to Pin Challenge from 10am-7pm

Wagon Rides will be going on from 12pm-6pm on Saturday and 1pm-3pm on Sunday. Pickup area is at the corner of Centre Street and Front Street. While on your way there, make sure to stop in the MEOC Building to see all of our Art and Photo Show entries.

The Silent Auction will be held at the Sunburst Electronics building from 11am-7pm Saturday and 1pm-3pm on Sunday.

There will be lots of fun over at Ringley Park for the kids! Inflatables will be set up from 1pm-7pm on Saturday and 1pm-4pm on Sunday.

It's looking like a great weekend to spend at the Guest River Rally!
