How many kids and preteens can say they have performed in a professional musical production, not to mention all from a small town and in Wyoming? This group of 13 can! “Wild West Spectacular the Musical” is produced by 501c3 Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre which is affiliated with local classical dance & music studio, Rocky Mountain School of the Arts in Cody, Wyoming. This affiliation provides many opportunities and experiences just for RMSA students, like performing in this professional production. A round of applause 👏 for a job well done to these young performers. Rocky Mountain Sch/DanceTheatr does have open enrollment for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Cody, Wyoming. Meet Willow Fernandez willow fernandez, Older Irma from Cody, Wyoming. This summer she is looking forward to hanging out with the cast, and getting to meet the audiences! Being from Cody she loves going cliff jumping and swimming at Buffalo Bill State Park Buffalo Bill Reservoir! She also enjoys shopping locally especially at indigo, O L I V E & P E A R L, and Sierra! Yeehaw! The historic 90 year old The Cody Theatre neons are glowing again in the Wyoming sky! Sure looks sharp with our new Wild West marquee sign and just in time…TWO chances remain to come see our 11th summer season production. Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8 at 7:00 pm. Meet our tightrope dancers and jr ensemble members. These 3 dancers are local students at Rocky Mountain Sch/DanceTheatr (which we are affiliated with) and have spent the summer performing in a professional live musical for their summer job in Cody, Wyoming. How crazy cool is that!!! Only 3 chances left to see them and the rest of the cast perform! Closing night is Saturday, August 8 at 7:00 pm.

Every performance day dance captain Kirsten Kauffmann leads not just the dancers but the whole cast in stretches to get them warmup for the show!
