Cowboy GRIT is offering one $2000 scholarship for a Cody-Kilgore High School Senior enrolled in any two year college, four year college, trade school or job training program, with attendance beginning the summer or fall of 2026. Applications are due Friday, May 1, 2026.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2025 Cowboy GRIT auction - whether it was through a donation or your attendance! Your support helped us to raise over $20,000!

These funds will be used towards:
1) continuing and expanding annual scholarships for Cody-Kilgore graduates and alumni pursuing higher education;
2) we are hoping to develop a program to offer small grants to local organizations, whether in the form of the villages served by the CK school district, youth organizations or other groups specifically in our area that are looking for funding for specific projects. A current example we are looking at includes contributing toward new bathrooms at the Cody park;
3) new spectator stands at the Cody-Kilgore football field

Each year Cowboy GRIT members are looking for better ways to serve and support our communities. We always welcome any and all suggestions and participation. Please feel free to reach out. THANK YOU!!
