We are a historic theatre built in 1936 with original Art Deco details preserved inside and out. Originally a movie theatre and now a venue for The Cody Theatre Company productions and summer season of Wild West Spectacular the Musical. Clem's Canteen & Creamery is located in the theatre lobby offering savory eats and sweet treats during events and open to the public during the summer.

Announcing RMDT’s Cody Theatre Company’s fall production… “Grease” LIVE at the historic Cody Theatre in downtown Cody, Wyoming this October 29-Nov 1. Open Auditions will be held Wednesday, Sept 9 at 7:00pm AT Rocky Mountain School of the Arts for anyone 18+. Before audition all auditionees must submit our online audition form. It’s been a whole week now since the closing season performance of Wild West Spectacular that had 48 shows in our theatre and Clem’s Canteen and Creamery that was open in our lobby this summer. Summer 2027 will be here before we know it. Stay tuned for 12th season dates and when tickets go on sale. Open auditions will again be virtual starting in January.

After almost 3 years, our historic Cody Theatre Marquee neons are glowing again! Just in time for the final 4 performances of Wild West Spectacular and final 4 days of Clem’s Canteen and Creamery for summer 2026. Tonight: Wednesday, August 5 show is at 5:00pm and Thursday-closing on Saturday, August 8 are at 7:00pm. Purchase tickets in advance online to save time and money.
PS: campaign is still going as what we’ve raised has greatly helped and we are so thankful but hasn’t covered all the expenses and remaining costs that will be added to finish the restoration and updates for our 90 year old marquee. For more info on savethecodytheatremarquee see our website.
