Woman owned, family operated studios offering sewing lessons, art classes, paint parties, DIY fun & the home of the Splat Lab in Cocoa Village. We are a woman owned, family operated creative studio serving Brevard County with locations in Indialantic and Cocoa Village, Florida. What started as sewing lessons taught from home has grown into a creative space where kids, teens, adults, families, and friends come together to sew, paint, create, and make memories. At MyMakerScape, we offer sewing classes, art classes, paint parties, Open Makery DIY studio hours, Splat Lab experiences, camps, workshops, private parties, and mobile events throughout the Space Coast. For over 10 years, our goal has remained the same: creating a welcoming space where creativity matters more than perfection and everyone feels comfortable making something with their own hands.

Hello!

10/16/2026

11 years ago, I was just a mom trying to make a little extra money for my kids' extracurricular activities, give them something fun to do with friends, and keep my own mom busy too! 😂

I never imagined that little idea would turn into two creative studios!

Hey there! I'm Flo, the person behind MyMakerScape!

It all started in our formal living room as Fairythimbles. Over the years, we were featured in local articles and even on News 13's Thankful 13! So rebranding wasn't an easy decision. Fairythimbles held so many memories, but as we grew beyond sewing, it was time for a new chapter.

Fast forward to today, I've had the joy of teaching and creating with thousands of people right here in Brevard County!

Along the way, we've hosted fundraisers, supported local schools and community causes, and made some wonderful friendships. Some of you started as customers and became friends, and that means so much to me!

Of course, like any small business, we've had our ups and downs. Some seasons are slower than others, but we keep showing up and doing what we love!

Looking back, I'm proud of how far we've come, but even more grateful for the people who have been part of this journey.

11 years later, you'll still find me teaching workshops, getting messy, and meeting new people!

Whether you've been here since Fairythimbles or just discovered MyMakerScape, thank you for being part of our story!

Have we met at one of my workshops yet?
