She is in SOLID shape and well taken care of - just needs some TLC here and there.

Well the boat survivied the hurricane last year -and will be coming to the house for dry dock and repairs. Hope to get it here next week!! So she will be on the hard for some time......

Well we hit (not literally) Mile Marker Zero tonight. Will be going through a lock system as well later. Then current crew leaves and my friend MAAAAACK (Mark) will be flying in to help me take her the rest of the way!

I have had 15 days of on board learn as you go training so I figure I know enough to handle her the rest of the way.........should be fun.

Laptop decided its break was over, haha get it...break. It works now - some heavy seas a few days ago may have helped somehow.

Will post some stuff soon....arriving at mile marker zero tomorrow in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Left Charleston today. Nice dinner, made Chinese food for the crew. They are liking my cooking :-).

Well we went 73 Nautical Miles today - most so far. We are in Georgia now. Outside of St. Simon's wherever that is...

Got the head sail out today and made some nice progress - got into some big water as well, was a lot of fun. Beautiful day too again!

Had a nice dinner, I made some chicken caccitore with sausage and tortellini and a nice red sauce with broccoli! The capt and crew have been spoiled with my cooking, ask them they will tell you. Cooked it all in the wok except for the tortellini.

We leave at daybreak each morning and anchor at sunset each night. Nice rhythm to and the days are nice and long. We take naps here and there during the day, funny how you can sleep with a diesel engine going right behind you.

We are scheduled to hit Charleston, SC on Tuesday afternoonish, and take a break from the schedule. No TV in 3 days cool.

Beautiful morning - made french toast, wish I had bought a french press I would have had fresh coffee too! First thing I will get when I get a chance...

Well a bit of trouble anchoring tonight. But we got it sorted out and are set now for the night. Very quiet and peaceful with nice moonlight and stars. Beautiful - and not a sound to be hear (my typing is loud). We ended up an hour north of Daytona. Leave at daybreak tomorrow...
