✨✨ LET’S TALK GROUP TRAVEL ✨✨

After helping plan several group getaways, I’ve learned one very important thing:

Getting a group of adults to agree on a destination, dates, budget AND room arrangements deserves an award. 😂

But group travel is also SO much fun….and it can look like just about anything!

And you don’t necessarily need a HUGE group, either! Depending on the resort, cruise line or destination, even a relatively small group may qualify for special group rates, amenities or perks.

One group trip I especially LOVE planning? Bachelor & bachelorette getaways to all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. 🥂🏝️

They make group travel EASY…food, drinks, pools, beaches, entertainment and activities are all right there. Everyone knows what they’re paying upfront, and nobody has to spend the weekend splitting dinner checks between 10 people. 😂

FAM trip officially underway! 🎢✨

Over the next few days, we’ll be learning, exploring, and experiencing Universal Orlando firsthand, because there’s no better way to help our clients plan their trips than actually being here and doing the “research” ourselves. 😉

We’ve got training, park time, Epic Universe, and…Halloween Horror Nights. 👻

Which should be particularly interesting considering we are BOTH certified scaredy cats. 😂🙈

Hi, I’m Lexie! 👋

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, and there are quite a few new faces around here…so I figured it was time for a reintroduction!

Yes, I’m a Travel Advisor. Yes, I love Disney. But there’s a LOT more to me (and to the trips I plan!) than theme parks. 😂

I’m equally happy wandering the streets of a European city, sitting on a beach with a drink in my hand, trying every restaurant I can fit into a trip, or hopping on a plane to somewhere I’ve never been before.

And somewhere along the way, my love of traveling turned into getting to help other people experience the world, too. ❤️

These days I plan everything from honeymoons and anniversary trips to Europe, all-inclusive getaways, cruises, group trips, theme parks and plenty of “we know we want to go SOMEWHERE, but we have no idea where” vacations.

Outside of travel, I’m a film/TV accountant, runner, podcast host, dog mom to the best boy Scooby, and currently way too invested in keeping a jar of sourdough starter alive. 😂

Basically, there’s a little bit of everything around here…my own travels, travel tips, behind-the-scenes advisor life, running, Scooby and probably some chaos along the way.

I almost skipped this excursion because of the price.

Looking at it online, I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the extra cost. In the end, I decided I’d probably never have another chance to ride a snowmobile on a glacier…so I went for it.

Ironically, it ended up being one of the foggiest days of our trip. We couldn’t see nearly as far as we’d hoped.

And honestly? I still don’t regret it.

Standing on a glacier, bundled up against the cold, and riding across a landscape I’d only ever seen in photos was an experience I’ll never forget.

Sometimes travel isn’t about perfect weather or perfect views…it’s about saying yes to something you’ll probably never get to do again, and that makes it totally worth it.

Two years ago today, I took a leap and became a travel advisor with Wondermakers Travel.

Looking back through these photos, it’s incredible to see how much has happened in just two years. I’ve explored destinations I never imagined visiting, experienced resorts and cruises firsthand, expanded my knowledge, built relationships with incredible suppliers, made some amazing friends to do life with and, most importantly, helped so many amazing clients create memories of their own.

This journey has stretched me, challenged me, and given me opportunities I’m so grateful for. Every trip I’ve taken has made me a better advisor, because I believe the best recommendations come from firsthand experience whenever possible.

Year two also reminded me that this business is about so much more than vacations. It’s about celebrating milestones, bringing families together, checking off bucket-list dreams, and being someone my clients can trust from the first idea to the trip home.

Here’s to everything the last two years have taught me and to all the adventures still to come!

I honestly don’t know what to say…🥹

Today I officially crossed $500,000 in lifetime travel sales!!

I’m so incredibly thankful.

It may be 90°+ outside in Georgia, but this is actually the perfect time to start thinking about Christmas markets. 🎄☀️

One of the biggest misconceptions about European Christmas market trips is that they’re last-minute holiday getaways.

In reality, some of the best flights, hotels, and river cruise options can start filling up months before the holiday season arrives.

I visited Christmas markets across Europe a few years ago, and it’s still one of the most magical trips I’ve ever taken….from twinkling lights and festive food to wandering through historic city centers with a mug of glühwein in hand.

If Christmas markets are on your travel bucket list, now is the time to start dreaming.
