🌹 Back to Weddings 🌹

After two weekends of graduation parties, we resume to our normal wedding broadcast this weekend!

We love that our space is versatile enough to not only host weddings but also graduation parties, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays and so much more! We can even fit bounce houses in the space for a rockin’ party! 🤘

Hey y'all,

I just wanted to take a moment to share our heart when it comes to Just As You Are Photography.

This business is so much more than taking pictures to us. We truly love what we do. We pray over our sessions, we get excited for your milestones, and we celebrate right alongside you. Whether we're photographing a wedding, a newborn, a family, or a senior, you're never "just another client" to us. We genuinely care about the people who step in front of our cameras.

If we're being completely honest, one of the hardest parts of running a photography business is talking about money. We never want anyone to feel like we're charging too much, and we certainly aren't in this to make a fortune. But we've also had to learn that our time has value.

Every session is time spent away from our families, our hobbies, and other responsibilities. It's time spent planning, traveling, photographing, editing, communicating, uploading galleries, and making sure every detail is taken care of. While the session itself may only last an hour or two, there are many more hours invested behind the scenes that you may never see.

Please know that when we quote a price, it is never because we're trying to break the bank or take advantage of anyone. It's simply our way of valuing the time, effort, and love that goes into serving each family we photograph.

That being said, we also understand that everyone has different circumstances. If you've been wanting photos but are worried about the cost, please don't be afraid to reach out and talk with us. We can't promise every session can be discounted, but we're always willing to have a conversation and see what makes sense for everyone involved.

At the end of the day, our goal has never been to get rich. Our goal is to capture the moments in between—the laughter, the tears, the milestones, the memories—and preserve them for years to come.

One of the things couples often don't realize they need on wedding day is an extra set of hands.

The little details matter, and they don't always fit neatly into a vendor's responsibilities. That's where we love stepping in.

Whether it's setting out cupcakes before dessert, helping pass out champagne for a toast, lining up the flower girl and ring bearer before they walk down the aisle, or giving the bride's dress one final fluff before she makes her entrance, we're there to help make sure everything comes together smoothly.

This weekend was one of those weekends.
Getting to witness a connection between two people that is so genuine, so full of love and excitement for their future together, reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Watching them stand surrounded by the people they love most and finally commit to each other as husband and wife is something truly special.

One of the most important parts of wedding planning is understanding exactly what each vendor is responsible for — and what they are *not* responsible for. 🤍

Not all vendor packages are created equal. Two vendors may offer similar pricing, but one may include setup, cleanup, staffing, delivery, timeline help, or additional services while another may not. Asking detailed questions upfront helps avoid confusion, stress, and last-minute surprises on your wedding day.

A huge part of planning is identifying where there may be “holes” in service and making sure someone is assigned to handle them.

For example:
If your caterer does not include food service staff — or if you are preparing/providing your own food — it then becomes *your responsibility* to find designated people to:
• Set food out
• Refill items
• Monitor the buffet
• Clean up food service areas
• Handle trash and leftovers

These are often things couples don’t think about until the wedding day arrives. Without a clear plan, responsibilities can unintentionally fall onto family members, bridal party members, or other vendors who were never hired for those tasks.

The same idea applies to many other areas of a wedding:
