I get asked all the time why I don't offer custom hangers anymore, so I thought I'd share the real reason.

The truth is, I love creating custom pieces. There is something special about designing a one of a kind hanger just for someone. But as my business has grown, I've had to make decisions that keep The Hen House running.

Assembly line painting far outweighs custom painting. In the time it takes me to paint one or two custom hangers, I can paint everything you see on these tables. Focusing on bulk orders, paint parties, and workshops simply allows me to accomplish so much more in the same amount of time.

It isn't because I don't enjoy custom orders. I truly do. It just makes the most sense for my business and allows me to continue doing what I love while serving more people.

Thank you all for understanding and for supporting The Hen House. Every paint party you attend and every workshop you book helps keep this little dream of mine alive. ❤️🐔

Teachers are officially getting their classrooms ready! 🍎🎨

I had a wonderful group of teachers join me at The Hen House to create something special for their classrooms. From personalized clipboard hangers and beautiful churches to a custom music hanger for one talented music teacher, every project turned out so unique!

31 ladies filled the shop today, and what a day it was! 🎨💕

After a long break for art camp and vacation season, everyone was so excited to be back around the paint table. A few even joked they were going through painting withdrawals because it had been way too long! 😂

We painted, laughed, caught up, and made some beautiful projects. A special shoutout to a few of my favorite girls who stayed for both parties today. They definitely know how to hang! 💙

And happy birthday to Wendy! Thanks for celebrating your special day with us! 🥳
