If you missed the story, our flower family that sells outside our shops had their tables stolen. We waited for someone’s conscience to kick in, but alas the tables were not returned. Thank you Keren Yaari of The Grapevine for getting the ball rolling on raising money to buy new ones. We raised enough in one day from our post! We went in and ordered the tables from Staples today, as local as we could get, and they offered us free delivery to Cobden. Thank you again to everyone who donated, wanted to donate but we had enough, who shared our original posts and who cared. We know you will step up at a moments notice to help others. We see you out there in our communities. We appreciate you. Thank you for sharing the Love ♥️

The Annabelle Festival in Anna, Illinois is happening this coming Saturday. Who is with us in thinking the town of Anna needs to change its name to Annabelle!!! They have a festival and businesses with this name a beautiful Annabelle mural. And it’s a flower!! Cmon it’s a great idea right? Have fun in community with the Annabelles this weekend ♥️

June 12th update: Several people in our communities had the ability to donate money to replace the stolen tables. We are so grateful 🥹 Thank you to everyone for your kind words about our flower family, for sharing the post to help find the tables and for caring ♥️ We appreciate you all ♥️

Original post: Thank you to everyone who has offered to chip in to buy Bianca’s family and farm new tables. Although we can’t see clearly who is on the outdoor video footage, we’re pretty sure it isn’t someone from town. Thank you for sharing our post, hoping the person responsible would return the tables. Sadly they are gone😔

We are now collecting money to buy new tables - our Venmo QR code is below - you can put “flower tables” in the message. We can also accept check during store hours(10 to 5, Thursday to Sunday)made out to Bonnie Burton, owner of the shops. We’ll keep people updated here as to how much we’ve raised. Thank you for offering to help. It truly takes a village ♥️

Note: We have always had a giveaway area next to the garbage/recycling cans. Any items there are free for the taking. Currently there is a chair there. Someone moved to town and didn’t have room for this chair. It’s been rained on a couple of times and could use a vacuum, but it originally came from a good home. The side of the rest of our building has all items that belong to us or other tenants. Thank you😊
