This is a very good example of one of the many reasons I use aluminum instead of sterling silver.

Both rings have been in my jewelry box for years. I made the aluminum peace ring the year I started this business in 2021, five years ago. The sterling silver dandelion wrap ring I made around 3 years ago.
Which one would you choose if you were looking in your jewelry box for a ring to wear today? The untarnished, shiny one ready to be slipped on your finger that you've never had to polish, or the one that is tarnished after being in a protected environment for less time with a previous polishing about 6 months ago when you wore it last?

I know which one I'm choosing, the one I don't have to polish before i wear it. Today, I choose peace😂
