Well folks, that's a wrap for the 44th Annual Great Texas Mosquito Festival!

Even though Tropical Storm Bertha grounded us on Thursday and the weather kept things challenging all weekend, we still had a great festival. Thank you to everyone who came out, our amazing vendors, sponsors, entertainers, volunteers, city staff, public safety personnel, and all the hardworking folks behind the scenes who made it happen.

A special thank you to everyone who supported the festival despite the rain, heat, and changing plans. Your dedication to this Clute tradition means the world to me.
Now, I'm going to rest my wings for a little while, but don't worry—we'll soon be buzzing into plans for the 45th Annual Great Texas Mosquito Festival!
