I'm Lisa (Lee) Thalleen, a skater of 53 years and a certified learn to skate instructor. I have been married to my incredibly awesome husband, Michael, since 1997. He is a retired Air Force member and now continues to serve his country as an instructor for CAFB with the 27th SOSS. We raised five children, Andrew & Alexsis, his step-children he treated as his own, and then our younger kids Keely, E
mma, and Ben and they all learned how to skate when they were little and (I think) they enjoyed skating with their momma while growing up, too! :-) Skating is a GREAT family sport and making memories that will last a lifetime is what it is all about! Our three younger kids sort of grew up here in Clovis since we moved here in 2008 and now they are all grown up living their best lives. We have two beautiful granddaughters, Ryann Paige (my first one with my oldest son), & Phoebe Paige (My "baby bop" from my oldest daughter) who will probably grow up to love skating if "GiGi" has anything to do about it! ;-) We also have a St. Bernard dog (who thinks she is a little human) named, JoJo, that serves as a service dog (the best one EVER) and you all may just see her at the rink from time to time because she loves to meet new people! Well, folks, that is just a little bit about the Thalleen fam-bam, don't want to bore ya too much. But, just want you to know we are so excited to keep Roller World going as the best small town roller rink in the world! I have lots of activities planned for everyone of all ages coming soon and we just changed the summer schedule to be open more so we can offer some fun entertainment to all of you living in our area. I hope to meet more new faces and love seeing old familiar faces, too. Thanks for all the support so many of you have already shown! We look forward to building our relationship with the community through the love of roller skating! Skating is great for the body, mind, and soul so I hope to see you all there soon!
