Our 4th annual Gichigami-baaga’adowewin Aazaabandaagewin (Stickball Tournament) is coming up in just a week!

We will have youth & community games as well as bracket games to decide the winner.

Teams of at least 7 (10 max with 3 subs). Come with a team or show up and get put on a team day-of!

Prizes for the winner — we ask that participants please bring a gift to contribute to the gift blanket if able.

We’ll be at the Bapashkominitigong Baaga’adowekamig (Ball field) on Rez Rd. starting at 11 next Saturday, August 1.

Come out & play! Come out & watch & cheer them on!

We have two (2!) events coming up this month in the last week of June.

First, on June 24th, we will be holding a scavenger hunt at the Anishinaabewigamig! Teams of 2-4, with an Ojibwe name, have the chance to win prizes! Room At The Table will be serving dinner.

Then, on Saturday, June 27th, we will be back at the Anishinaabewigamig for the legendary Shinaabe Gagwe-Aazaabandaagewinan! The Ultimate Ojibwe Challenge! Teams of 3-5 will compete in challenges that utilize a range of skills & have a chance to win more prizes! There will also be an Ojibwe Chef Challenge — best Ogaa dish & best Manoomin dish. Lunch will be served.
