Clive Parks & Recreation Division is part of the City of Clive's Leisure Services Department. It includes 3 pools: a zero-depth entry "kiddie" pool rising to 3 feet 10 inches of water depth; a 25-meter lap-pool with water slides, diving board, and basketball hoop; and a 315-foot lazy river (tubes provided). The Greenbelt Trail includes over 10 miles of trail from 73rd to 156th streets and is "Distinct by Nature," recognized as a jewel of the city and landmark feature of our community. Clive manages various parks, from regional to neighborhood parks. Our largest park is Campbell Recreation Area, 12385 Woodlands Parkway, including three adult softball fields, sand volleyball, outdoor basketball court, tennis courts, playground equipment and open-air shelter. Other rentable shelters include Country Club Glen, Porter Greenbelt, and Linnan open-air park shelters. Neighborhood parks open to the public include George Lundberg, Huntington Ridge, Karp, Lions, Rio Valley, Stonegate, Swanson Memorial, Walnut Ridge, Wellington Ridge, Westview Bend, and Wildwood parks.
