🎃🌲 **TREE TRUNK-OR-TREAT UPDATE — PLEASE SHARE!** 🌲🎃
Unfortunately, we will **NOT be hosting the Tree Trunk-or-Treat at The Shire this Sunday.**
We had a TON of interest from families wanting to come out and trick-or-treat, which honestly made me so excited to see! ❤️ Unfortunately, we just didn't get enough responses from people wanting to actually set up candy stations along the trails to make the event what I wanted it to be.
And that's okay! ❤️
This was VERY last minute, and honestly, we were already going to be cutting it pretty close to **MUD TERRITORY** out on those trails this time of year. 😂🌧️🌲
But if there's one thing I learned from all of this, it's that **YOU GUYS WANT THIS!**
So now I know for next year. 🎃👻
We can start planning earlier, get plenty of Tree Trunk stations lined up, decorate the trails and actually have the time to turn it into something REALLY fun.
But I do want to make this part very clear so nobody accidentally shows up:
🚨 **THERE WILL BE NO TRUNK-OR-TREAT OR TREE TRUNK-OR-TREAT AT THE SHIRE HOSTED BY THE FERAL WIFE FARM THIS YEAR.** 🚨
To everyone who commented, shared, offered to help, or was excited about bringing your kiddos — **THANK YOU.** ❤️
Every time you guys get excited about one of my crazy ideas, it reminds me that people really do see what we're trying to build out here.
The Shire and The Feral Wife Farm are still growing, and trust me… **I have a LOT of ideas.** 😂🌲
I'll be spending this winter working, planning and getting ready for what's next!
I'm already dreaming up things like:
🌻 More woodland markets, farmers markets & animal swaps
🎬 Drive-in/outdoor movie nights
🎶 Live music & concerts
🍻 Adult nights at The Shire
🎈 Kids' bashes & family events
🐓 Homesteading & farming classes
🐐 More animal experiences
🧺 New products for the farm stand
🐔 Farm & animal supplies
🌲 And probably another dozen things I haven't thought of yet. 😂
And YES — **Tree Trunk-or-Treat 2027 is officially going on my idea list!** 🎃🌲🍬
So PLEASE follow **The Feral Wife Farm** and stay tuned, because we're just getting started.

You guys have been asking for a Trunk-or-Treat at The Shire…
But this is THE SHIRE — so obviously we can't just do a normal Trunk-or-Treat in a parking lot. 😂
What if we did a…
🌲🎃👻 TREE TRUNK-OR-TREAT AT THE SHIRE?! 👻🎃🌲
Instead of decorating cars, we'd fill our WOODLAND TRAILS with decorated tables, tents and candy stations!
Kids would come dressed up and make their way through the winding trails, going from station to station collecting candy. 🍬🍂
And yes… because apparently I thrive on chaos 😂… I'm thinking:

AND — WE ALREADY HAVE A FOOD TRUCK! 🍔🙌
Now I just need to know if we can get enough people willing to help make the trails AMAZING.
I'm shooting for around 50 TREE TRUNK STATIONS throughout The Shire! 🌲
You can bring a table, tent, chairs — whatever works for you — decorate your little piece of the woods and pass out candy to the kiddos!

🧙 Sports teams
🕷️ Clubs
🧡 Or just anybody who wants to decorate a spot and hand out candy!
There would be NO CHARGE to set up a Tree Trunk station.
Go simple or go ALL OUT. Decorate your table, tent, trees or your little section of trail and have some fun with it!
